Bald Head Island Conservancy Turtle Trot 5K
Dates: July 3, 8, 15, 22 & 29
Time: 8:30–11:00 a.m.
Location: Bald Head Island Conservancy
Start your morning with one of Bald Head Island’s favorite summer traditions. Registration includes a commemorative Turtle Trot T-shirt, and first-place finishers in each age group receive a beautiful sea turtle medal. Bald Head Bottle Red, White & Blue Party

Kick off the holiday weekend with festive cocktails, red and white wines and fun blue-themed treats. A special Bingo game begins at 5:30 p.m. with prizes and giveaways.
Fourth of July Golf Cart Parade

One of Bald Head Island’s most beloved traditions returns with new parade categories celebrating America’s 250th birthday. Decorate your golf cart and join the fun—or simply enjoy cheering on the creative entries from along the parade route.
Bald Head Island Club July 4 Celebration

Celebrate Independence Day with an evening of outstanding food stations, games and music before heading to West Beach to view the Southport fireworks display across the river. Club reservations are required by calling 910-477-5010.
Bald Head Island Conservancy Summer Talk Series

This popular lecture series features fascinating presentations from experts on weather, wildlife and coastal conservation.
