Bald Head Island is a haven for wildlife and the people who love it. Every Friday at 1 p.m. through August 1, the Bald Head Island Conservancy leads a guided tour of the island’s most vibrant wildlife hotspots. From the shady trails of the maritime forest to the salt marsh and stunning shoreline, you'll get to see the island through the eyes of expert naturalists. It’s a must-do for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone who wants to really explore the island. Meet at the Conservancy campus on Federal Road.
Surf’s Up! NC Treasures Weekend (June 19–21)

The weekend kicks off with a Historic Happy Hour on Friday, June 20 from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at the Bald Head Association Building where author Chris Bickford leads a lively discussion of our state’s colorful surfing heritage.
